One of the best places to eat in NM - or at their affiliated restaurants - "Golden Pride." There is nothing better than a warm cinnamon role, carne adovada burrito or fresh tortillas with butter.

Gold Street turf, along with Gold Street itself and the Silver Hills Historic District. That means if you're in trouble and in the area, hopefully some Gold Street G is around so they can help you out. If you're not a fool, that is.

This is a 'hood, not a district, and it isn't even a hood with any rep. Filled with mostly upper-middle class types who stay away from Gold St. and the rest of the student ghetto, the citizens of the Silver Hill Historic District live in fear of their neighbors. As they should.

Nice quiet subdivision close to the base and Lab, but it's run by Hoamco (http://www.hoamco.com/), who consistently raises the dues and gives little back, they have raised rates twice in 3 years, are talking about cutting back on some of the landscaped areas, hey I have an idea for them, let's cut their salaries. Viola, now we dont have to cut back on the things people like about this great little neighborhood. Basically the same bad things I hear about all homeowners associations.
