The address is really 2127 gold. The one right next to the one mark in red, If you look between the red and white boxes, is the real apartments. The apartment manager is so super. He is always watching out for you and others.

Google is more correct than this is. This library was named the "Prospect Park" Branch Library for many, many years. A while back it was renamed the Tony Hillerman Branch Library. It has never been the "Wyoming Regional Library" at all!!

The owners name was Rod Jensen and his wife was Pat (who started Beach Bee Bikini) then he got divorced and married Pilar. He just passed away her in La Joll,a California. I was one of those lifeguards who made kids pick up trash or clean the tiles on the side of the pool. I was under duress. We has a code over the PA system. The Sandia foorball coahes used to bring the PE classes over. If the life guards loft could talk...you have no idea.
What memories!!!Ron and Scotty were swim team coaches. There was Bobby Dudley, Rob and Dave Wall, Patti Steuber, Jennifer Sutton, Mark Mahorick, Ellwell, Ben Wine. The Clifford Boys, Ned Chappell et al.

Little Anita's....
After becoming homeless, I drove from Florida with my family cramped in a two door 1991 Cutlass for days on end, where we slept therein and saved every penny for gas, the first place i stopped the car, once entering Albuquerque was in the farthest corner of the first parking lot i saw. My mother and the children stretched their limbs and walked around the car while I stayed, (I felt glued )to the seat(I was exhausted from driving).
When everyone climbed back into the car, we just sat there...
I don't know for how long. Suddenly, I noticed a man approaching towads the car. He was smiling brightly.
I realized he was bringing us something...
I got out of the car and walked towards him, the only thing I could see really, was his bright smile and extended hands, my heart was quickly melting. Then I realized that I too was smiling, I realized I was smiling AND crying! I was propelled from numb resignation to brilliant, soul warming oneness in seconds.
He explained that he was the manager of Little Anita's and that he had seen us and that he wanted to bring us a little something and that he wanted us to enjoy. I thanked him. I returned to the car and looked to the curious faces and smiled with tears. This man had given us more than he can ever really know. He gave us hope.
To him and to Little Anita's I am forever grateful.
Thank you.

This is Runway 17/35. It is currently weight restricted to aircraft 12500lbs or less, which translates to nothing larger than a twin cessna. The local Fie Force 150th wing also use it for lights-out nighttime C-130 landings
