I don't know why the description says "East Indian". But anyways, the food is great, and I would recommend the 'dosa' and 'sambar'.

There are actually some really nice blocks, streets, and houses in this area. There are also a lot of low rent apartments. I think it's unfairly disparaged. Yes it's a poorer area, but that doesn't mean the people who live there are any less human or worthwhile.

I went to Monte Vista during the '62-'63 school year (3rd grade) Judging from how it appears from satellite, it hasn't changed a bit! My fondest memory is my teacher (can't remember her name) who was a real space exploration buff. She let us paper the walls with Mercury space program newspaper articles and every kind of memorabilia we could find. I reside in Indiana now and haven't been back for 35 years.
  • Mountain Run Shopping Center, Bill Aldridge (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
I live close to your center, shop there, eat and go to Spectators. However, I can safely say that you have the worst parking lot of any shopping center I visit. Huge holes and all you do is fill them with asphalt, which lasts only a short time. Can't imagine why you would leave it the way it is with all you have in the center. Why don't you moderize and bring the parking up to par with the rest of the center.
